We are delighted to announce that the choreographer for our upcoming season, Snow White, will be Jenna Lee, who will be working alongside ballet mistress and friend Amy Hollins. With a glowing endorsement from LCB’s Patron Lauren Cuthbertson, Jenna joins LCB having created exciting pieces for some of the UK’s most stunning Principal classical dancers, as well as more unusual projects working alongside groups such as the street dance crew, Flawless.
Jenna danced with English National Ballet until this summer, having joined the company in 2002. She was promoted to First Artist in 2007 and to Soloist in 2008. Her repertoire includes The Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland and Diamond Fairy in Sleeping Beauty. She trained at the Royal Ballet School as well as the English National Ballet School. Jenna has previous choreography experience and also experience working with young dancers.
Amy Hollins also trained at the English National Ballet School and joined the English National Ballet in 2002, performing in all UK and international tours. After four years with the Company, Amy branched out into musical theatre and her credits include Movin’ Out and Phantom of the Opera in the West End.
We are extremely excited to be working with Jenna and Amy through our 2015 season.
Jenna will be choreographing to Richard Norriss’ original Snow White score, written for London Children’s Ballet in 2009.
