Audition Registration: OPEN

Audition registration is now open for LCB’s 2026 season.

We are delighted to announce London Children's Ballet's audition registration is open for our 2026 season.

LCB is looking for 50 charismatic young dancers (girls aged 9-14, boys 9-16) to perform in our 2026 production, at the Peacock Theatre (2nd- 5th July) and 48 dancers for LCB’s brilliant community outreach touring companies.

All roles in the ballet are danced by children. Dancers will receive over 100 hours of expert coaching every Sunday, culminating in eight West End performances with a live orchestra. There is no fee for the LCB training and performance experience - although we would appeal to those who are happy to make a contribution, as we depend on charitable support to ensure that the experience remains open to all.

LCB encourages applications from ALL passionate young dancers, as we choose a cast who are engaging and enjoy telling a story. We are casting a narrative ballet and need diversity in our characterisation. We do all we can to make the audition an enjoyable day as we know that there will be many first-time audition candidates.

Dancers chosen for the Company will rehearse on Sundays from January to June 2025, plus two intensive weeks in the April Easter holiday and May half term. Please check the rehearsal schedule carefully before registering as FULL commitment is required.

LCB is also looking to cast up to 48 dancers to form 4 touring companies, which rehearse for 5 days, then perform over a week in care homes, community centres and special educational needs schools across London.

"The latest show from London Children’s Ballet, Anne of Green Gables, is an absolute delight, raising hopes of a glowing future for British ballet. All the children were superb. I assumed all sorts of allowances were being made for the ages of the performers and the episodic nature of their involvement.....More fool me."
