Boys Summer Intensive
Founded by Jenna Lee in 2022, our Boys’ Summer Intensive is designed for dancers aged 9–12. To celebrate the return of Billy Elliot the Musical 20 years after its West End premiere, this year’s Boys Intensive will be themed around the iconic production. Dancers will explore ballet, virtuosity, jazz, and musical theatre, and learn a section from the show. The Boys Summer Intensive welcomes an inspiring faculty including Damani Campbell Williams, former Royal New Zealand Ballet Principal Dancer, Sonny Ward, and Lee Hoy.
'James has few opportunities to dance with other boys, or work with male teachers, so this was a really affirmative experience for him. He enjoyed the freedom of movement and self-expression in the contemporary sessions, which was new for him. He enjoyed the camaraderie with other boys with a shared love of dance.'

Summer School
LCB's Performance Summer School is an opportunity for dancers aged 9- 14 years to take part in a variety of classes and performance workshops. It is a fun packed week and is a great way for children to make new friends who also love dance. A highlight of the programme is special performances from dancers currently working in the industry. The summer school includes a daily ballet class, repertoire, jazz, contemporary, Musical Theatre, professional demonstrations, and pointe class (for those en pointe, 12-14 years week only). On the last day the children will perform LCB repertoire and a showcase of what they have been working on during the week.
