Anne of Green Gables

2026

We are delighted to announce London Children's Ballet's production for the 2025/2026 season, 'Anne of Green Gables'.

Anne of Green Gables is the story of a lively, imaginative 11-year-old orphan, Anne Shirley. With stunning characterful choreography by Jenna Lee and a memorable, enchanting score by Gus Nicholson. Adopted by a family in a remote farming village in Canada, Anne gets herself into endless scrapes but eventually wins over the community with her endearing, fearless character and passionate nature. Full of drama and humour, this warm-hearted story is set to the music of a live orchestra and is perfect for the whole family.

Première Performance on Thursday 2 July, 7pm

"One of the great strengths is the clarity of storytelling.....how this young cast are being taught to inhabit their characters in ways that many a professional ballet company neglects."
