Anne of Green Gables

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the closure of schools and theatres, LCB has taken the difficult decision to postpone this year's production to new dates in 2022. We are hugely thankful to all those who supported the performance and the charity by buying tickets and hope that you will rejoin us in 2022.

If you bought Premiere night tickets for 18 June 2020, LCB will contact you directly to arrange a refund or to transfer of tickets.

If you booked public performance tickets through the Peacock Theatre or Sadler's Wells, please contact the theatre directly and they will arrange a full refund.

If you booked tickets to LCB's Ballet for £1 outreach matinee, LCB will be in contact to make arrangements for a refund or a transfer to 2022.

Based on the charming original story by LM Montgomery, Anne of Green Gables tells the story of a lively, imaginative 11 year old orphan. Adopted by an elderly brother and sister, Anne gets herself into endless scrapes but eventually wins over the community with her endearing, fearless character and passionate nature.

LCB has commissioned a brand new two-act ballet with beautiful original music, played by a live orchestra, and exciting new choreography. The ballet is full of humour and drama, appealing to boys, girls and adults alike.
