Giving Back to the Community

London Children's Ballet attracts people who have never before had the opportunity to see dance or visit a theatre through the LCB "Ballet for£1" outreach matinees. Nearly 2,000 inner city school children and elderly come each year to see our matinee performances. Most recently, LCB has developed a programme of follow-up ballet workshops for schools attending outreach performances.

In addition to the main company, LCB has smaller touring companies, LCB2, to reach people who are unable to get to the theatre. LCB2 performs in hospitals, special needs schools, hospices, residential homes and centres for disabled children.
