Lucille Briance, Founder and Artistic Director

Lucille Briance read political science at university and worked in publishing before moving to London in 1980 to join the editorial staff at Vogue magazine. While her four children were young, Lucille took up photography. She had considered a career in musical theatre and has a fine family collection of first edition children’s books. Her experiences with her own children and interests in education, performance and the arts culminated in the vision of London Children’s Ballet.
